Dog Safety

This week we were lucky enough to have three dogs, accompanied by their owners to teach us about dog safety. Bella was lucky enough to go on stage and have the opportunity to pat one of them. The dogs were well trained. They taught us about asking permission before patting a dog, giving them their hand to sniff first and then, only touching under their chin and their shoulder. The children also learned not to approach a dog when they are alone and certainly not when they are eating. The children wrote about the experience afterwards, with great results.
